Cyberwatch strengthens its coverage to address sovereignty challenges

At Cyberwatch, our mission is clear: to help companies understand their vulnerabilities and maintain the security of their information systems. Committed to the heart of cybersecurity challenges, we have reached a new milestone by integrating numerous European security alert sources into our platform.

A concrete response to digital sovereignty challenges

Until now, the majority of vulnerability data available on the market came from North American sources, such as the NVD (National Vulnerability Database). While essential, these databases do not always accurately cover the specific challenges of the European territory, particularly regarding regulations or industry standards.

This is why our Cyberwatch platform now integrates the main European institutional sources to enhance the precision and relevance of its alerts.

Focus on the EUVD, a sovereign and strategic database

Among the major contributions of this development, we highlight the integration of the EUVD (European Union Vulnerability Database), developed by ENISA. This database complements existing repositories by focusing on vulnerabilities identified within the European Union, within a framework that complies with current regulations.

Thanks to these new integrations, Cyberwatch:

  • Detects critical vulnerabilities reported locally sooner,
  • Ensures regulatory monitoring aligned with European frameworks such as the NIS2 Directive or GDPR,
  • Offers a sovereign alternative to American databases for organizations concerned about the origin and governance of the data they use.
